Job Description

L’OCA Quality Market is not a typical grocery store. We are a food experience company built on Quality, Scratch, Theatre, Service, and Love. Everything we do is intentional, from the products we source to the experiences we create for our guests.

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to own and lead our purchasing, sourcing, inventory, and supply chain operations. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who loves building systems, negotiating great deals, developing teams, and making complex operations run smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain: category management, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution
  • Design and execute a sourcing and purchasing strategy aligned to L’OCA’s growth and brand standards
  • Build, manage, and optimize supplier and vendor relationships
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to drive margin improvement and cost savings
  • Oversee imports, customs, and transportation logistics
  • Own inventory strategy and warehouse operations, balancing availability with waste reduction
  • Maintain and optimize the product database (IRP & POS systems)
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Operations on promotions and seasonal programs
  • Analyze margins, KPIs, and performance reports, and provide insight to leadership
  • Ensure regulatory, food safety, and trade compliance
  • Lead, hire, coach, and develop the procurement and purchasing team

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory planning
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or equivalent experience
  • Strong track record of process improvement, cost control, and supplier optimization
  • Experience in grocery retail and/or food service is a strong asset
  • Strong financial and analytical skills (margins, forecasting, KPIs, inventory turns)
  • Advanced Excel / Microsoft Office skills; ERP or supply chain systems experience is a plus
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Why This Role Matters

This is a high-impact leadership role with real ownership. You will shape how L’OCA sources, moves, and manages products across the business and directly influence margin, availability, and growth.

If you want to build something, not just maintain it, and you want real accountability and influence in a fast-growing, quality-driven company, we want to talk to you.
