Job Description

Bakery Team Lead

Do you have a passion for pastries, a knack for leading a team, and the ability to turn dough into delightful creations? We knead you! We're on the hunt for a Bakery Team Leader who can rise to the occasion and become our Master of the Flour Universe.

As the Master of the Flour Universe, you'll lead our talented Bakery/Coffee Bar team to new heights. Championing the principles of Quality, Scratch, Theatre, Service, and Love, you'll ensure our daily operations are as smooth as buttercream frosting. From profitability and customer service to expense control and inventory management, you'll have your finger on the pulse of all things bakery.

Your leadership skills will be the secret ingredient to our success. Whether it's developing and mentoring our associate team leads, supervisors, and team members or defining clear expectations for retail execution, you'll be the driving force behind our high-performance team.

But it's not just about the bread and butter. You'll also need to be a maestro of merchandising, ensuring our produce is always of the highest quality and visually appealing. From executing seasonal displays to optimizing sales and inventory management, you'll have the recipe for success.

As the Master of the Flour Universe, you'll also oversee all aspects of our bakery operations, from production planning and recipe development to ingredient sourcing and quality control. Your barista experience will come in handy as you whip up delicious coffee creations and ensure our coffee bar is a beacon of caffeinated joy.

To rise to the top of our bakery hierarchy, you'll need a Pro-Serve certification and advanced knowledge of products, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management. Your exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills will be crucial as you foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork and exceptional morale.

With your mathematical prowess, you'll assess financial performance, monitor profitability, and manage inventory with precision. And of course, your decision-making abilities and delegation skills will be the yeast that makes our team rise.

If you've got at least 24 months of produce retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership, then we knead you to join our dough-loving team. Barista experience is a plus, and bakery kitchen experience will earn you extra sprinkles on top.

Don't wait for the dough to rise on this opportunity! Apply now and become our Bakery Team Leader - the Master of the Flour Universe. It's time to mix, knead, and bake your way to success with us!
